Protein Snickers Bar

healthy protein snickers bar
Note: – nutritional value for the ‘snicker’ bar with and without a chocolate cover
– 1 serving = the size of ½ normal snickers
– Protein bar with only good ingredients
Ingredients (10 ‘snicker’ protein bars):
Protein bar:
– 100 g peanut butter (all natural)
– 50 g protein powder (P-Tech Tri-Phase ideal). You can choose the flavour you want
– 10 g cocoa (5 g if you use chocolate protein powder)
– 200 g low fat Greek yogurt or low fat yogurt, low fat cream, milk, water
– 20 g crushed raw peanuts (natural or roasted)
Chocolate cover:
– 80 g +85% chocolate
– 20 g coconut oil
– sweetener (stevia ideal)
Directions:

Protein bar:
– Mix all ingredients together (you can choose to add the crushed peanuts to the mixture or put them on top of every bar later)
– Depending on the protein powder you use and other ingredients (yogurt, milk,….?) it is possible you should use a bit more or less of some ingredients.
– Divide the mixture in 10 and shape every piece into a bar
Chocolate cover:
– Break the chocolate into small pieces
– Melt the coconut oil on a low fire
– Add the small pieces of chocolate to the melted coconut oil
– Take of the fire while stirring
– Coat the bars with a small amount of chocolate (dip them in the choclolate)
