Macadamia nuts are a nutritious snack on their own but are also fabulous in baking, particularly cookies, muffins and cakes, or added to your favourite stir-fry. Macadamias are also great for creating homemade nut butter or dairy free nut milk.
Growing & Processing:
Indigenous to Australia, grown in Northern NSW and QLD, the macadamia nut tree is a small to large evergreen tree 2-12m tall. The fruit is very hard which contains one or two seeds which are then cracked open to show the nuts once sufficient moisture has gone. These macadamia nuts are raw so they have not gone through any heat treatment or roasting.
No GMO. Unroasted and unsalted. No added preservatives.
