Sleep Well is a unique herbal and magnesium natural sleep aid designed to encourage relaxation and quiet an overactive mind. It combines three herbs: noble Kava (Piper methysticum), California poppy (Eschscholzia californica), and Ziziphus jujuba, each with an extensive history of traditional use.

Ziziphus Jujuba is a plant used in traditional medicine as a natural treatment for anxiety and insomnia. It has been shown to work by targeting the GABAergic system, which is the system in the body responsible for the production of GABA. This neurotransmitter helps to regulate excitability in the brain. Ziziphus has been found to have sedative and anxiety-reducing effects, likely due to its ability to enhance the action of GABA in the brain.

The golden-orange California poppy is the official state flower of California. It is known for its anxiety-relieving, sedative and analgesic properties. The plant was commonly used by Native Americans and Hispanic societies for mood disorders, pain, and insomnia. Today, it is regarded as a nerve tonic. Through its many isoquinoline alkaloids, it is thought to interact with opioid receptors and neurotransmitters such as GABA.

ELEMENTAL MAGNESIUM (TOTAL) 100 mg

Sleep Well contains a blend of magnesium amino acid chelate and magnesium glycinate. These organic forms of magnesium offer superior absorption and bowel tolerability to the more common and cheaper inorganic forms such as magnesium oxide. Magnesium is essential in more than 300 biochemical reactions throughout the body and assists with muscle and nervous system relaxation. Optimal levels are crucial for good health.

Directions:
